Personal Essay

Nicholas Henegan Phillip Alston. Premature Multi-Millionaire. That’s the plan at least. Since I was younger I’ve only wanted to do one thing. That one thing happens to be working with food. Though my final goals have developed to becoming more than a chef, food will always be my main aspiration. I never want to limit myself to doing one thing, so I promised myself that I would try to do everything I love. The three main passions I try to claim are Food, Fashion, and Fitness. So what I want is to own restaurants, get into the fashion industry and coach Track and Field just to name a few of my goals.
Sadly, I’m not good at going in to detail about myself. I’m still figuring things out about myself and it is hard to put them into words. What I can talk about and go into detail about are my goals and the life I want to live. One of my biggest fears is not fulfilling my goals. The thought of coming so close and not being successful kills me. I want the success, I want the money, I want the excitement, and I want to have the free time to just travel. What I really want while I’m young is to make enough money from YouTube and my eBay business to live off of.  I want to save up money for a Food Truck and take random trips to places around the world.

One thing that does pop up on my mind from time to time is my spiritual or religious views. My dad is a United Methodist Pastor and I grew up in the church. As I have gotten older I stopped going to church and I do not pray like I used to. I just do not know where I stand on the topic. My parents hope that I stay in touch with God but it really does not hold my interest. My dad has noticed my distance from the word, but I have not fully expressed to him my lack of interest. What really interests me is the life I will live in the future, and I’m ready to graduate to start on the path to work for my goals.
